S--Drust-Young Gryphon-2

You've been ordered by another Nachtbrag (aren't they pesky?) to go deliver a message to a humanoid gryphon spy in the human village. The only problem is, there's a massive storm in your way! Struggle through the tumultuous storm to deliver the message for the Nachtbrag and prove your strength.

It seemed barely any time at all since the gusting winds and rain had forced Drust down to the ground, but already a second wave was steaming over the grasslands towards him. He fluffed up as best he could and squinted into the rain.
They couldn't have found anyone else to do this?
If it's so important why not an adult?
Or anyone larger than him?
A particularly nasty gust pushed him into the slimy mud and his stomach lurched at the ooze seeping up between his toes... Damn humans had better give him something to eat after all this. No way to hunt in this weather... He shuddered, dipped his head and shouldered his way through the torrential rain.

Drust, how have I missed you?

I still can't draw him looking /young/, the only difference I have between his older and younger forms is the colour of his feathers OTL

I'm sure I'm behind on EVERYTHING I've been AWOL since August FML. This was the picture that made me vanish, I couldn't figure out how to draw it =X I had like 5 attempts at it and then I'd practically left dA anyway =S
